Erasmus project in Modica Day 6 (Thu, 31/10/19)
In the morning,
we had breakfast at the hotel, as usual. At 8:30 a bus came to take us to the school
of the Italians, in Modica. To start the day off, we did an energizer with
Christian. It was an italian song with some movements. After that, we went into a
room in the school and Christian (the leader of the project), held a speech about
what we were going to do that day. Then we had to form groups of 6 to 7 people, but
the requirement was that 2 people from each country (Italy,
Finland, Romania and Germany) have to be in one group.
Then we had to choose a topic about what our presentation
is going to be. Our topic was: “Fast Fashion”. We then went into the computer
room with our groups and started to work on a presentation about our topic with
the program: “My simple show”. At 12:30 we all went to a nearby restaurant and ate
some pasta. After lunch we continued working on our presentation. As all the groups
were done, we had a short break, and most of us went outside to the schoolyard.
At the end of the day, every group presented their video, which were all really
good. On the last day, Christian held a speech about the past week, and we could
also tell something about how we felt about the whole project. Nearly everyone could
only say positive things about it. Then we left the school and took the bus to the
hotel, where we all had our last dinner together. Because it was our last
evening, we had planned that our whole group would spend it together. So at about
9pm we went to the city, and since it was the Halloween night, there was a
party with a stage and live music on “Piazza Matteotti“, in Modica. We all had
a lot of fun and tried for the last time to do as much as possible with our new
friends from Italy, Finland and Romania. We had a great last
evening/night and it was very hard to say goodbye.
