From April 12th to 18th, I had the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus experience in Ourense, a city in Galicia rich in history, culture, and traditions. It was an intense and enriching experience that allowed me to meet students from different countries, discover new customs, and compare myself with realities different from my own.
During this week, I was able to experience the international atmosphere that characterizes Erasmus projects, based on collaboration, cultural exchange, and sharing. In addition to the organized activities, it was very interesting to explore the city, its traditions, and the local lifestyle, all of which made the stay even more engaging.
An Erasmus experience is much more than just a trip: it is an opportunity for personal and cultural growth. Taking part in a project like this helps develop many important qualities, such as independence, adaptability, communication skills in a foreign language, and open-mindedness. Furthermore, living and working with people from different cultures improves interpersonal skills, teamwork, and the ability to face new situations with greater confidence.

This experience in Ourense will certainly remain an important memory, not only because of the places visited and the people I met, but especially because of what it taught me on a human and personal level.

The experience we had in Spain was truly special and formative. We stayed in a hotel near the city center, in a country we had never seen before, with traditions and cultures unfamiliar to us. We spent a week with our classmates, who took us around Ourense, a fascinating city rich in history, sharing unforgettable emotions with us. We met many young people our age who immediately made us feel at ease, and we hope to see them all again soon!

We had a fantastic week. In the morning we were welcomed by the Colexio Plurilingüe Padre Feijoo-Zorelle. We did many activities in which we mixed Italian and Spanish. In addition to the activities, we followed explanations of geography, where they explained in essence all the parts of Spain, especially Ourense. And a lesson on the difference between Galician and Spanish.
The afternoons, on the other hand, were intense and full. We visited Santiago de Compostela, and other cities nearby. Discovering all their churches and cathedrals.
What impressed me most about this experience were the people I will carry in my heart. Including the two girls I made friends with and with whom I still talk today. And Professor Bea will remain my favourite person from Ourense. I hope one day to go back and find there, that little piece of heart that I left.

Taking part in the Erasmus project in Ourense, Spain, was a wonderful experience, especially because it was my very first trip abroad. At first, I was a bit excited and nervous, but this trip helped me grow. During this experience, I became close friends with my schoolmates because we shared every moment of the day together. It was also very easy to make friends with the Spanish students; we got along right away, laughed, and talked a lot. At school, we did many fun and practical educational workshops. Besides studying, we visited the monuments of Ourense and traveled to nearby cities, like the beautiful Santiago de Compostela.
This Erasmus trip changed me a lot. I realized that we shouldn't be afraid of new things or different cultures.

From April 12th to 18th, my Erasmus experience in Ourense was so much more than just a project; it was a journey made of faces, smiles, and bonds that formed in a heartbeat. In just one week, I found myself immersed in a unique atmosphere where students from every corner of Europe became, day by day, my new family.
The beauty of Galicia was simply the backdrop to what truly mattered: the people. Sharing local traditions, laughing at our differences, and working together toward a common goal gave me friendships that go far beyond geographic borders.
This experience changed me deeply, making me more confident, more open-minded, and immensely grateful. I carry in my heart those moments of connection and the realization that, despite our different languages, friendship speaks a universal tongue. Ourense won’t just be a memory on a map, but the place where I left a piece of my heart, along with people I truly hope to cross paths with again soon.

This week in Spain was an extremely meaningful experience, both personally and culturally. I had the opportunity to meet students from another country, learn about different traditions and customs, and take part in an international environment based on cooperation, respect, and cultural exchange.
One of the most valuable aspects of this experience was the bond I created with both my classmates and the Spanish students. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed, and we quickly built genuine friendships that I will always remember. The school activities, workshops, and cultural visits also allowed us to discover the history and beauty of Ourense and its surrounding areas.
This Erasmus experience helped me grow by making me more independent, confident, and open-minded. I learned that stepping out of my comfort zone can lead il unique opportunities and personal growth, not only from an educational perspective but also on a human level.

During my Erasmus experience in Ourense, from the 12th to the 18th of April, I had a great opportunity to discover a new culture and meet people from different countries.
In the morning, we attended classes at a secondary school in the city. We also took part in some activities and workshops that helped us learn more about the local culture.
In the afternoon, we went on excursions to visit different places in the region and learn about its history. My favorite excursion was to Santiago de Compostela, where we visited the famous cathedral. It was very interesting to see such an important place in real life.
During our stay, we stayed in a hotel near the school, so it was easy to move around every day.
Even though it only lasted one week, it was a very nice experience. I met new people and discovered a different culture. I would recommend this experience to all students because it is useful and interesting.
